Can You Buy A Property In Turkey Online?

written by Gill C December 27, 2020
Istanbul houses

At the beginning of 2020, with the Coronavirus reaching the planet, governments had to take measurements to keep people at home. This affected many corporations. To keep the Turkish real estate market competitive and allow transactions to occur, a new online application called Web Tapu was announced by the Turkish Land Registry and Cadastre Office on 18th March 2020. This new system allows the full process of selling property to take place online. Turkey is still one of the most popular tourist destinations to visit and buy real estate.

What does Web Tapu mean?
Put in layman’s terms – the Web Tapu system makes it possible to buy property online in Turkey.

Thirty thousand Turkish properties were sold online in 2 weeks with Web Tapu
Thirty thousand Turkish properties were sold online by the end of March of this year, shortly after the new system’s announcement that made it possible to purchase property online on 18th March. In Istanbul alone, fifteen thousand properties were sold in districts such as Esenyurt, Umraniye, Beylikduzu, and others. Online property in Turkey sales followed in areas such as Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Bursa, and Istanbul.

How can you buy property online in Turkey?
As one of Turkey’s leading real estate business, locations such as Kusadasi, Antalya, Alanya, and Bodrum, online purchasing services are provided.

Best prices for Turkish property
We are proud of giving our customers the best rates possible. To keep the rates up to date, we do our best. For real estate ventures, the “list prices” are the prices listed. We will negotiate on the list rates; the negotiating process is best done by professionals.

Why do the property prices fluctuate on the website?
Slight variations are due to changes to the exchange rate. In Turkey, property prices are always in Turkish Lira, but most of our foreign clients want to see them in GBP, USD or EUR currencies. The currency rate fluctuations will be expressed on our website’s property rates so that you may see minor ups and downs every now and then.

Are the property prices negotiable?
We do accept any fair offer made and will be on your behalf more than willing to negotiate. Along with finding the right portfolio for our customers, we are the leader in this area.

Lowest Price Policy
We are keen on keeping our rates up to date and at the lowest possible levels. If you see lower rates for a particular property elsewhere, please contact us, and we would love to investigate it.

Virtual Property Viewings
Our trusted team will visit the properties of interest, walk you through the rooms, and clarify all the information using the contact method you prefer (such as phone, Skype or What Sapp). After finding the best real estate in Turkey for you, the negotiation process will take place, which will also be supported by video conferences, including the vendor and other legal entities as needed.
To complete the transaction successfully, our team will do the hard work. You will be able to buy the property and become the legal owner by using the Online Tapu application without needing to visit the property in person.
